A guiltless mocha coffee frappe?? YES!!! Low fat, dairy free and sugar free too!
This fabulous recipe first published on June 5th of 2012 needed some new updated photos!
It's only 24 calories! Only 2 grams of fat and TASTES TERRIFIC! It's quick and easy to make in a blender and a whole lot less expensive than buying a frappe at any coffee chop!
No, it is not false advertising. No, it is not too good to be true either. YOU can have this without guilt!! It really looks like it should be an exorbitant amount of calories but it's not at all.
I love the chocolaty frappe bubbles that happen from mixing in the blender!
Add a dollop of Dairy Free Whipped Cream and some cacao nibs and go relax!
Kept an old pic for you to laugh at. 🙂
This recipe is adapted from my Low Calorie Iced Coffee Vanilla Frappe , added some cocoa and stevia and.......OH MY!!!
PURE DELIGHT!!
The only difference with this one as opposed to the vanilla frappe, I really feel you need the chocolate stevia to get that mocha flavor. BUT still your call here. If you can do without any sweetness then try it without at first. You can always add it in after. If you don't have chocolate stevia use vanilla or plain. Or use any other sweetener of choice.
I couldn't even wait to drink this.....Looks like I almost drank half before the final pic was taken. No worries.....I can make it again today, and tomorrow, and the next day........... 🙂

Really good. I was afraid to crusjh ice in my Ninja blender without liquid. So I added 4 ice cubes.
I dont know if it addrd up to the right amount of crushed ice or not. But i think your recipe could make 4 servings, not 2.
Love the stevia chocolate drops!
Thanks for the great recipe!!

Glad I found your website. I'm going to follow some of your boards on Pinterest, but I'm wondering if you actually try the recipes before pinning them? I'm tired of making recipes that sound and look delish but turn out to be duds. Hoping yours are tried and true...
Brenda
I often do not try the recipes I pin only my own are tried and true recipes I post on my blog and pinterest. I can't attest to others I pin.

Yesssss! Doing a happy dance! Never had a McDonald or Starbucks frappe, but this morning mocha Joe is wonderful! Modified it a bit. Only had plain liquid stevia. Used two teaspoons and add 1 tbsp of HWC. Bought carb count to 3 net carbs. 28 oz. Yes I drunk it all
thank you!

So trying this! This looks wonderful. Thank you for sharing.
I am really happy to hear that I will not *absorb* a lot of calories AND that there are not an *exorbitant* number of calories in the first place.
OMG, I just grammar-snobbed you!
You should ban English majors from reading your blog 🙂

Made this tonight with Hershey's Dark Cocoa Powder. It took all of 2 minutes to make and is scrumptious! I did add about a tbsp of Swerve since I think stevia alone is a bit bitter. Definitely will make it again and again!

This is my 3rd time having one of your frappes. Yum!!

Perfect timing! I was thinking I needed to find an iced coffee recipe using unsweetened almond milk. Will try this one today! Thanks for reposting this recipe and making my search easy.

I just made this with Special Dark cocoa powder and used sugar free Torani chocolate syrup in place of the liquid Stevia. It's yummy! The Special Dark cocoa powder made it really rich.

This sounds good. But instead of the cocoa powder and stevia, I may try using the sugar-free Torani chocolate flavoring.
