2 Year Blog Birthday & a Dehydrator Give Away!

It’s my blog’s 2nd birthday so it’s time to celebrate with a give away!

2yrbday

Can you believe that my Sugar-Free Mom blog has been around for 2 years already?? Yes, exactly 2 years ago today on October 21, 2011 I launched my website! Blessed beyond measure by the growth and support we’ve received from all of you! To show my appreciation I’m giving away a favorite kitchen gadget that I love!!!

Who wants a new dehydrator??? Dehydrators are perfect for making healthy dried fruit snacks for the family. The hubby also likes to make jerky with it as well. Whatever you decide to dehydrate you will not be disappointed!

Here’s mine in action making apple chips!!

dehydrator1

We’ve dried pears and apples but you can really dry whatever you like. It comes with a great book to tell you all about how to use it.

My kids can’t get enough of these so it’s a good thing this dehydrator has about 6 or 7 shelves to hold a whole lot of apple slices!

Don’t be alarmed that it says beef jerky on the box. My hubby bought two brand new and kept one in the box unused specifically for my blog’s birthday to give away to one of you!

  11. AAAAHHHH!!! I’ve been wanting a dehydrator for months! SO many things to make! The first two items to make would be kale chips (I just burn them in my oven) and then these pumpkin chocolate cranberry cookies: http://fragrantvanillacake.blogspot.com/2013/09/raw-pumpkin-cranberry-chocolate-chunk.html
I would then proceed to make every single thing from Fragrant Vanilla Cake.

    1. I’ve been wanting one for a few years now, but being a stay at home mom its been difficult to splurge on buying one. I have Mary Bell’s Dehydrator cook book I gotit years ago and would love to finally start using it to make healthy snacks for my family.. We love eating chips & what better way than making my own veggie & fruits snacks using my own healthy red sea salt or stevia & without all the junk even organic snacks have to offer like adding canola oil which most don’t know is GMO. I’m also motivated in making a variety of snacks that I could sell at my local farmers market to help families that don’t have time to make them and the parents can know they are feeding their families a pure & wholesome food you can’t even find at regular health food stores and without paying way too much that makes it hard to afford the healthier lifestyle! Thank you, I appreciate you as mom having your blog as another tool to help motivate me to keep pushing for better & healthier eating! May God bless you. 🙂
