2 Year Blog Birthday & a Dehydrator Give Away!
It’s my blog’s 2nd birthday so it’s time to celebrate with a give away!
Can you believe that my Sugar-Free Mom blog has been around for 2 years already?? Yes, exactly 2 years ago today on October 21, 2011 I launched my website! Blessed beyond measure by the growth and support we’ve received from all of you! To show my appreciation I’m giving away a favorite kitchen gadget that I love!!!
Who wants a new dehydrator??? Dehydrators are perfect for making healthy dried fruit snacks for the family. The hubby also likes to make jerky with it as well. Whatever you decide to dehydrate you will not be disappointed!
Here’s mine in action making apple chips!!
We’ve dried pears and apples but you can really dry whatever you like. It comes with a great book to tell you all about how to use it.
My kids can’t get enough of these so it’s a good thing this dehydrator has about 6 or 7 shelves to hold a whole lot of apple slices!
Don’t be alarmed that it says beef jerky on the box. My hubby bought two brand new and kept one in the box unused specifically for my blog’s birthday to give away to one of you!
All you need to do to enter is comment below and tell me what you’d like to make in this dehydrator! Contest ends at Midnight on Friday October 25, 2013. I am shipping this myself and it can be quite expensive so I’m sorry but US residents only please. GOOD LUCK!!
NOW CLOSED!!
Congrats to #410 Amanda!!
I would love to make real fruit roll ups. Really the possibilities are endless and fascinating!
I would use this dehydrator to make various fruit and veggie treats for women and children in the Domestic Violence Programs where I volunteer in an effort to teach healthy snack choices!!
I am a diabetic trying to live a healthier lifestyle, and your site has definitely helped! I would love to make jerky in the dehydrator. Low in carbs and high in protein, with my OWN natural ingredients. My family would love it, and so would I!
Banana chips and jerky!! Yummy!
I would love to make my own healthy jerky that isn’t loaded down with nasty additives. Sometimes a little jerky goes a long way in making it through the school day. Happy Birthday!!!
Beef jerky! My kids love beef jerky!
I think those apple chips look awesome but I would love to get some sweet potato and zuchini chips out of that baby!! as well as the typical dried fruits, veggies are great that way too!!

Would love to make apple chips for the kiddos!!
I’d make raw “crackers” from flax & veggie purée. Yum !
Let’s see, I would dehydrate probably anything and everything I could think of or find recipes for! Meats, fruits, veggies. I buy these little dehydrated organic yogurt drops, not sure if there’s a way to make those using this but I would look for instructions and try!! Thanks for the chance to win 🙂
