It's my blog's 2nd birthday so it's time to celebrate with a give away!
Can you believe that my Sugar-Free Mom blog has been around for 2 years already?? Yes, exactly 2 years ago today on October 21, 2011 I launched my website! Blessed beyond measure by the growth and support we've received from all of you! To show my appreciation I'm giving away a favorite kitchen gadget that I love!!!
Who wants a new dehydrator??? Dehydrators are perfect for making healthy dried fruit snacks for the family. The hubby also likes to make jerky with it as well. Whatever you decide to dehydrate you will not be disappointed!
Here's mine in action making apple chips!!
We've dried pears and apples but you can really dry whatever you like. It comes with a great book to tell you all about how to use it.
My kids can't get enough of these so it's a good thing this dehydrator has about 6 or 7 shelves to hold a whole lot of apple slices!
Don't be alarmed that it says beef jerky on the box. My hubby bought two brand new and kept one in the box unused specifically for my blog's birthday to give away to one of you!
All you need to do to enter is comment below and tell me what you'd like to make in this dehydrator! Contest ends at Midnight on Friday October 25, 2013. I am shipping this myself and it can be quite expensive so I'm sorry but US residents only please. GOOD LUCK!!
NOW CLOSED!!
Congrats to #410 Amanda!!

Happy birthday to your blog! I'd make apples. My gramma used to have dehydrated apples all the time at her house and I loved going there and having that special treat. YUM!

I'm looking forward to making dried veggies. I spend so much buying them as snacks at whole foods and fresh market, when I can save the money and try it myself. My favorite is dried okra, taro, and green beans. Yum!!

Kale Chips! I have a couple of awesome recipes, but like another post, they keep burning in the oven. Also want to dry fruits and veggies for the kids to take in school lunches. I had some incredible dried okra in Austin and would love to try and recreate it. Thanks for being my "Go-To" recipe source when I'm looking for something healthy AND tasty!

I hope our family wins because I borrowed a dehydrator from a friend to dry soaked almonds and we loved their crunchy goodness! Our minds have so many ideas swimming of things we would use a dehydrator to make. I want to thank a dear friend Hannah Crouch for sharing about this give away! Best wishes to all the participants!

Hey Sugar Free Mom! I have struggled with being overweight almost all my life. I am now 56 and finally this year joined weight watchers and moving towards being truly healthy 🙂 After a 33 pound weight loss and 70 more to go reach my goal I am using more fruits and vegetables in my diet. My husband is a diabetic who LOVES jerky so I would surely make jerky for him too. I want to make for both of us health trail mix snacks made naturally from fresh fruits and veggie snacks without lots of additive. Thanks for considering me for the dehydrator!! Nita
