2 Year Blog Birthday & a Dehydrator Give Away!

It’s my blog’s 2nd birthday so it’s time to celebrate with a give away!

2yrbday

Can you believe that my Sugar-Free Mom blog has been around for 2 years already?? Yes, exactly 2 years ago today on October 21, 2011 I launched my website! Blessed beyond measure by the growth and support we’ve received from all of you! To show my appreciation I’m giving away a favorite kitchen gadget that I love!!!

Who wants a new dehydrator??? Dehydrators are perfect for making healthy dried fruit snacks for the family. The hubby also likes to make jerky with it as well. Whatever you decide to dehydrate you will not be disappointed!

Here’s mine in action making apple chips!!

dehydrator1

We’ve dried pears and apples but you can really dry whatever you like. It comes with a great book to tell you all about how to use it.

My kids can’t get enough of these so it’s a good thing this dehydrator has about 6 or 7 shelves to hold a whole lot of apple slices!

Don’t be alarmed that it says beef jerky on the box. My hubby bought two brand new and kept one in the box unused specifically for my blog’s birthday to give away to one of you!

  10. I would like to try a variety of fruit. I already make apple chips in the oven, but would prefer the dehydrator. I would also love to make mango slices since they are really hard to find without added sugar. We also like making our own fruit leather and I would love to do it in the dehydrator rather than the oven. I’m really glad I found your blog. Congratulations on 2 years!

  14. Hi!! I would love to have this dehydrator because I’d use it {not only for fruit but} to make parsnip, beet root and sweet potato chips. One of my guilty pleasures is chips so if I could make healthy ones, I would no longer want the bad ones. My children have recently come on board the clean eating wagon with me. They are loving my recipes and this would be one more thing to help teach my kids that you can still have delicious things without them being bad for you!! Please consider my plea…..I BEG OF YOU! LOL! thank you for teaching us so much and giving of yourself to us all.

  15. My family loves dried fruit, so that would be a given! Maybe also zucchini chips, potatoes and sweet potatoes? 🙂

Got my blend Tec, omega juicer, nice knife set for cutting veggies easily… this is the last thing we need! We love hiking with our three little ones and this is perfect to make dried apples, fruit leathers, mangoes ( our favorite) and we really want it to make jerky! Thanks for the opportunity!
