It's my blog's 2nd birthday so it's time to celebrate with a give away!
Can you believe that my Sugar-Free Mom blog has been around for 2 years already?? Yes, exactly 2 years ago today on October 21, 2011 I launched my website! Blessed beyond measure by the growth and support we've received from all of you! To show my appreciation I'm giving away a favorite kitchen gadget that I love!!!
Who wants a new dehydrator??? Dehydrators are perfect for making healthy dried fruit snacks for the family. The hubby also likes to make jerky with it as well. Whatever you decide to dehydrate you will not be disappointed!
Here's mine in action making apple chips!!
We've dried pears and apples but you can really dry whatever you like. It comes with a great book to tell you all about how to use it.
My kids can't get enough of these so it's a good thing this dehydrator has about 6 or 7 shelves to hold a whole lot of apple slices!
Don't be alarmed that it says beef jerky on the box. My hubby bought two brand new and kept one in the box unused specifically for my blog's birthday to give away to one of you!
All you need to do to enter is comment below and tell me what you'd like to make in this dehydrator! Contest ends at Midnight on Friday October 25, 2013. I am shipping this myself and it can be quite expensive so I'm sorry but US residents only please. GOOD LUCK!!
NOW CLOSED!!
Congrats to #410 Amanda!!

My family & I have wanted to get a dehydrator for awhile so we can have more healthier snacks inatead of the standard "junk food" we have sone for years. We are changing our lifestyle towards better for you foods & this would help us towards that goal. Thank you.

I would like to try making fruit leathers and apple chips. So much healthier than the processed ones you buy in the stores. I have tons of apples off our tree that would be great to use in this. Happy Birthday and hope you have many years more. Love all the recipes and glad that I found your blog

The options are endless! I'd make a ton of dried fruits--apple chips, banana chips--veggie chips, and even experiment with jerky!

It has been years since our dehydrator has broken down and we haven't had the time or money to replace it. I think Apple Chips would be the first thing I would make because my kids love them!! Followed closely by Beef Jerky, because my hubby can't get enough of it, but it is so full of junk and stuff, and so expensive! Oh the joys of having a dehydrator again!!! Happy 2nd birthday! I'm so glad I found you! Only a couple weeks ago, and it has been so wonderful!
