Healthy Low Carb & Keto Appetizers don't have to be a lot of work and they can be made ahead for special parties, like New Year's Eve!
Whether you celebrate at home or at a friend's house, New Year's Eve is just a few days away. It's a party that requires finger foods and simple tasty bites and this list will fit the bill!
Some might need to be baked and some are just refrigerated until ready to serve, but all can be made ahead for convenience on the day or night of the next party or for game day!
All of these low-carb recipes are easy appetizers and some of our favorite recipes to share with friends and family for holiday parties, even those not on a keto diet.
But if you feel overwhelmed and just not feeling like making any keto or low carb recipes, you can always just throw some pork rinds, some fresh veggies like cucumber slices, sweet bell peppers, olives, cold cuts like salami, pepperoni and some hard cheeses like cheddar, Romano parmesan cheese.
Buy some store bought keto low-carb crackers and keto chips for a simple charcuterie board, which is always a crowd pleaser!
If you only have a little time, an easy low carb recipe you could also make which is very simple is a Caprese salad. Just layer slices of fresh mozzarella cheese, fresh tomato, fresh herbs, like basil leaves and top with a drizzle of olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
I made a cute Christmas wreath I shared on my Facebook page, with this same idea, but I used cherry tomatoes instead of slices and mini cheese balls of mozzarella for a festive look.
