Avocado Bean dip is dairy and nut free and makes a great appetizer!
If you're an avocado fan you'll love this dip! Perfect with fresh cut veggies or healthy crackers. Great for a party as an appetizer and made in 5 minutes in a blender! Can't beat that right?
You could consider it like a hummus but since it doesn't have tahini in it, it's really not hummus. Lots of fresh herbs, garlic, lemon and extra virgin olive oil make this a tasty and healthy snack anytime!
I even spread some on whole wheat bread with a fresh slice of tomato and lettuce and called it lunch!

Sounds marvelous BUT can't eat lemon too acidic for me so any suggestions? I know the lemon keeps the avocado from turning black but my body says no lemon or lime either

How about apple cider vinegar or white vinegar, just a little.

I've never heard of cannelini beans. Do you think other beans could be substituted? Maybe black beans?
Brenda
Northern white beans or chick peas would work too.

Huh, I never would have thunk to put the avocado and the beans together in a dip. Love it!
