Slow Cooker Balsamic Pork Tenderloin (Keto, Low Carb)

Slow Cooker Balsamic Pork Tenderloin is a wonderful keto, low carb, gluten free dinner the whole family will enjoy!

Slow Cooker Balsamic Pork Tenderloin

If you’re looking for a lean protein and are tired of chicken, pork tenderloin is a fantastic choice! Seasoned perfectly and seared well before cooking in the slow cooker and you’ve got an easy weeknight meal or weekend. Using the slow cooker in the winter is always comforting and wonderful, but if you haven’t yet tried using it in the warmer months, especially summer, you have got to try this!

When you have wonderful outdoor summer plans like heading to the beach or pool, making this in the morning is ideal. You come home with the amazing, delicious smells in you’re kitchen and you’re kitchen stays nice and cool because you didn’t have to use the oven!! Win win in my opinion!

Slow Cooker Balsamic Chicken

This recipe is an adaption of my Crock Pot Balsamic Chicken. Just like that recipe, this one does not disappoint and provides a nice variety for dinner! Either way, you’ve got two equally delicious slow cooker recipes. Just add a couple of sides like my Italian Style Coleslaw or Mock Potato Salad or Antipasto Cauliflower “Rice” Salad.

Rest your Meat

Always let your meat rest a good five to ten minutes before slicing. Why? If you slice into the pork or chicken and it hasn’t had time to rest, often all the wonderful juices you want, end up releasing all over your cutting board. And that is sad. Don’t slice right away, just rest! You’ll have a delicious and juicy meal!

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Mix the first four dry ingredients together in a bowl.
  • Rub pork tenderloin in dry seasoning mixture.
  • In a large saute pan heat oil, 1/4 cup balsamic and garlic on medium heat until hot.
  • Add pork to saute pan and sear, browning meat on all sides.
  • Reduce heat to low.
  • Transfer pork to slow cooker.
  • Pour remaining balsamic into pan, with water continuing to stir for a few minutes to de-glaze pan.
  • Pour juices over the top of the tenderloin in crock pot.
  • Cook on high 2.5- hours or until internal meat thermometer says 170 degrees.
  • Let rest 5-10 minutes then slice.
  • Serve or return slices to slow cooker and keep warm in the juices.

Notes

The nutrition info includes only 2 tablespoons of balsamic. While the balsamic is used in the recipe, it mostly remains in the slow cooker and not much is absorbed into the meat. The juice from the meat cooking with the garlic, oil, water and balsamic used to sear the meat is a great dressing for salad or to pour over the meat when serving.ย

This is a fabulous and delicious recipe. My wife is very picky and she finally loves something that I cook for her. I’m the chef in the house. I suggest trying it when you can. I cook it on the low setting for 3 1/2 hours each time and it’s always just beyond 170 degrees.

  2. Step 5 says to reduce heat to low – how long should the pork tenderloin continue to cook in the sautรฉ pan on low heat before transferring to a slow cooker?

    1. You must sear it first on medium high and then reduce it to low when you pour in the additional balsamic vinegar and water. to scrape and de-glaze the pan. Hope this helps.

  3. I have a question, I love slow cookers but often forget to put the food in because I work all day from home and it slips my mind. How would you adapt this for a Ninja Foodi pressure cooker?
    Thanks!

  4. We loved this recipe! My family loves extra seasoning in food, so I doubled the recipe, and it was awesome! I also switched out the avocado oil for Dr. Braggs Organic Olive Oil which we also love. Thanks, Brenda!

  5. Thanks Brenda! I have made many of your recipes but don’t normally leave comments. This pork was awesome! I had 2 – 1lb pork tenderloins. Followed the recipe exactly and they were amazing! I cooked a little longer by accident so fall apart tender… still awesome! I will definitely make this again! I would also mention to try the balsamic chicken thighs if subscribers haven’t already… Superb!

  6. I have had some great balsamic vinegar salad dressings and am anxious to try your balsamic vinegar recipes but I know NOTHING about balsamic vinegar. Would you be willing to tell me what brand you use? I’d be ever grateful!!!

  7. Why does it say cooking time 4 hours in the sidebar when in the recipe itโ€™s 3 hours in the crock pot, and only a little bit of time to saute to brown it? Iโ€™m going to make this tonight, and want to make sure the 3 hours is correct.

  8. I avidly oppose anything with balsamic vinegar ๐Ÿ˜‰ but I made this and it’s so delicious! Thank you!

  9. The crock pot balsamic pork was OFF THE CHARTS delicious!! I am a picky eater and I LOVED this recipe! This is my first week using a crock pot and I went on a hunt for recipes and came across your site!! Thanks for sharing. I will definitely be trying some other crock pot recipes from you!

I made this last night and invited our grandson and wife over for supper, never having made this before. They LOVED it and so did we. They went back for seconds. We served with rice and green beans and green pea salad. I am not a fan of balsamic vinegar, but it was just enough flavor, not to be overwhelming. Thank you and I shall be following you.

  11. I made this for dinner tonight and it was DELICIOUS! Thank you so much for sharing it. I am following your site and Facebook page with great interest. You have inspired me to take the plunge to go sugar free. thank you again!

  12. I’m trying this tonight – already in the crock pot, and I’m so excited! Smells delish!
