PRIORTIZE PROTEIN ON KETO
When creating meals on a keto diet, the most important nutrient to prioritize is protein. Protein is essential to a healthy, balanced keto diet. Adequate protein in your day will provide that satiation to each meal you need to carry you through to the next meal. When you eat enough protein, it will help reduce cravings for carbs. Most of the women I coach in my Sugar Detox Course, are under-eating protein and when they finally start tracking how much they should be having, it is always a jaw dropping experience. But many woman in my course have noticed a considerable difference in sugar cravings disappearing when they increase their protein intake. If you've not tried increasing your protein to decrease cravings, I highly recommend and you can start by making these breakfast sausages!

EASY SUGAR FREE BREAKFAST SAUSAGE
Easy Sugar Free Breakfast Sausage
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground pork
- 2 teaspoons Bell's seasoning or ½ teaspoon each dried sage, rosemary, thyme, pepper
- 2 teaspoons salt
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground fennel seeds
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley plus more for serving
- optional: crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients together, except the oil.
- Form 16 balls and flatten by gently pressing in the center of each ball to form an indent. This will help keep their shape.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Once oil is hot, place 8 patties into the skillet. Cook 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. Remove from the skillet and cook remaining 8 patties in the same manner. Serve with fresh chopped parsley over the top.

Yes, Eleanor, .25 teaspoon is 1/4 of a teaspoon & .50 is 1/2 of a teaspoon. Hope that helps. 🙂

The recipe says to "mix all the ingredients together (except the oil)" but later in the recipe it says to serve with fresh chopped parsley over the top. Does that mean that the parsley doesn't go in with the uncooked ingredients? Or does it have parsley both in the sausage and over the sausage?
Brenda
I just added extra to serve, you do add that tbsp into the mixture.

Made this this morning. Very good. I couldn't find the rosemary....maybe I had thrown out due to age so I substituted Herbes de Provence. This worked well for my Whole30 eating plan. And I only had dried parsley so I used some of that while mixing. I mixed all seasonings and muttled before mixing with them with ground pork.
