Frozen Low Carb Watermelon Sugar-Free Slushie is the perfect low carb drink snack for the kids, and adults too, on a hot summer day! If you're on a keto diet, you can enjoy this frozen watermelon slushie for just 5 carbs per serving and it's low calorie too!
Low Carb Watermelon Slushie
I don't know about your kids, but all mine want on a hot day in the summer is cold, frozen TREATS!!
With just 3 simple ingredients you can WOW your kids and friends with this tasty cool, summer drink!
Making use of a ripe watermelon that might not have been the sweetest one I picked, is why this recipe a winner!
Low Carb Keto Sweeteners
You can make this with or without a natural sweetener of course, if you find the natural sweetness from the watermelon is sweet enough. I use low carb and keto sweeteners that don't spike your blood sugar.
Use my Sweetener Guide & Conversion Chart if you want to change out the sweetener I used.
Using a seedless watermelon makes it quite easy to blend up, but if not, just cut up the watermelon into pieces and pick out those seeds before blending.
As long as you have a good high powered blender or even a food processor this is a perfect drink and the quickest way to fend off the kids when they are asking for something in the afternoon.
Sometimes I just don't have it all together as far as snacks go when my kids have friends over.
I do try to have on hand in the freezer some easy frozen treats for them, but sometimes they eat them up before I've had a chance to replenish.
As long as I've got some limes and fresh watermelon I can make this healthy drink for them and they are happy!
Watermelon Wine Slushie
Not only is this a tasty treat by the pool when the kids have friends over, adults will enjoy it too!
You could make it boozy slushies by adding in some white wine or tequila for adult only alcoholic drinks, if you prefer.
Selzter or club soda would be nice for a non alcoholic bubbly!
It's easy, it's super quick and no cooking or heating the kitchen is required. That's what I call a slam dunk in this business!
Brenda's Notes:
Recipe card below shows a total of 36 ounces. I divided servings into 6 but you could divide into 4 drink servings and each person would have 9 ounces.
If you don't have watermelon stevia, vanilla or clear would work as well. Or just use your favorite sweetener of choice to taste. Always start with a small amount and adjust if needed.

Last year we made watermelon wedges on popsicle sticks and froze them for an event during excessive heat. (Fund raiser). These were a huge hit! I’m going to make watermelon cubes frozen & give this a try!
