This fabulous recipe first published on June 5th of 2012 needed some new updated photos!

It’s only 24 calories!ย ย Only 2 grams of fat andย TASTES TERRIFIC! It’s quick and easy to make in a blender and a whole lot less expensive than buying a frappe at any coffee chop!

No, it is not false advertising. No, it is not too good to be true either. YOU can have this without guilt!! It really looks like it should be anย exorbitantย amount of calories but it’s not at all.

I love the chocolaty frappe bubbles that happen from mixing in the blender!

Add a dollop of Dairy Free Whipped Cream and some cacao nibs and go relax!

Kept an old pic for you to laugh at. ๐Ÿ™‚

This recipe is adapted from my Low Calorie Iced Coffee Vanilla Frappeย , ย added some cocoa and stevia and…….OH MY!!!

PURE DELIGHT!!

The only difference with this one as opposed to the vanilla frappe, I really feel you need the chocolate stevia to get that mocha flavor. BUT still your call here. If you can do without any sweetness then try it without at first. You can always add it in after. If you don’t have chocolate stevia use vanilla or plain. Or use any other sweetener of choice.

I couldn’t even wait to drink this…..Looks like I almost drank half before the final pic was taken. No worries…..I can make it again today, and tomorrow, and the next day……….. ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Hey Brenda, I have been making “Light Mocha Frappuccino’s” ala Starbucks, forever! I use 1 Cup of Fat Free Lactaid Milk, 7 ice cubes, 1 heaping teaspoon of unsweetened cocoa powder, and 1 packet of sweetener (Splenda, Stevia, etc.) Put in a blender for 30 seconds and pour into the Venti Starbucks cup. Mmm….yummy!

  12. I’ve been intrigued by your recipes using the liquid Stevia as we have been trying to cut sugar out of our diets, but find a lot of recipes using other sweeteners leave a bad aftertaste. Your comment that this has no aftertaste has convinced me to give it a try! I will be placing an order very soon and trying some of the yummy-sounding recipes you’ve been posting. Thanks so much!

  14. I made this, as promised. Instead of Stevia, I used Whey Protein powder Vanilla. Normally I find it very difficult to drink it. Also, I used fat free Lactaid, and organic sweetener. Today it was totally delish! Thanks so much!!!

  15. I have tried several brands of stevia only to find they have a horrible aftertaste that makes me feel sick. Are the liquid versions better tasting?
Does Sweetleaf powdered version have an aftertaste?

    1. The brand I like with no aftertaste is the Wisdom Natural Sweetleaf brand in liquid form. I buy through iherb.com and here’s my discount code for you, YAJ035.

  16. Hi,
I noticed the points value is different with the mocha and vanilla, is it because of the sweetener or the chocolate? Thanks for this recipe, I’m making it right now:)

  17. Do you use instant coffee, or actually brewed coffee? We are not coffee drinkers in our house; I don’t even own a coffee pot. I do love flavored coffee, but hate paying the high prices at coffee houses, not to mention the low nutritional value in the drinks there.

    1. I’m so glad you liked the vanilla, that one is still my favorite. I’m just a vanilla girl, but those who LOVE chocolate will favor this one. Powdered stevia will work too.
