A Minty Green Protein Smoothie that is dairy free and low carb is the perfect way to start the day!
This protein smoothie is dairy and sugar free and full of protein and fiber that will keep you satisfied until your next meal. The green color might be something to get used to but the taste is one that you won't want to miss!
Even if you've never tried anything green such as this, you really must give it a chance as the benefits of green smoothies are phenomenal. The minty flavor can easily be substituted if your not a fan, but with St. Patrick's day approaching I thought it was fitting and appropriate.
Top with a few sprinkles of cacao nibs if you like!
You could also add some Homemade Chocolate Sauce for a special treat! You will find this luscious smoothie recipe over on the Sweetleaf Website where I contribute a new recipe each month!
NOTE: This smoothie does contain one scoop of whey protein powder, but it can be eliminated to maintain it as dairy free or you can purchase a dairy free rice protein powder instead.

how do you come up with the 20 grams of total fat?? Half an avocado is only 14 grams of fat.
so what I am missing here unless your brand of whey protein powder has 6 grams of fat in it.
Brenda
It was in the whey protein powder. I've used another brand and used unflavored by Jay Robb that is better with nothing added.I adjusted the nutrition.

Where's the recipe? I could not find it

They get more money if you go through 3 pages of advertisements. I was a bit annoyed that I had to search for the link to the recipe though, as my browser really hates all the advertisements.
