Peanut Butter Banana Chia Smoothie: No Sugar Added

Do you have any peanut butter lovers in the house??

I must confess that I LOVE it and MUST measure out the tablespoon or I am prone to overeat on it for sure. So making this fulfills my taste for it and fills me up completely till lunch!

Having one of these is the quickest way to get a breakfast in and still do other things while sipping it or taking it in the car to go! Not to mention I love not having to “cook” anything and dumping everything in the blender is the best part.  🙂

* I used Sweetleaf Stevia, English Toffee in liquid, but any stevia will work fine. You could even try it without any stevia at all, it may be sweet enough with the banana.

    1. I haven’t tried it with PB2 as it contains sugar so if you do use it you might want to eliminate stevia. Thank you!

    1. I didn’t try them on their own, but in the smoothie I can’t notice much else but the PB LOL!!! I had been seeing them pop up everywhere too and now that I have a jar I am throwing them in all my newer recipes!

    2. Chia seeds have a strong “nutty” flavor. But, I do not taste them when mixed with other foods like oatmeal or in smoothies. Just my own observation. 🙂

  4. This looks delicious! I love a good peanut butter banana smoothie. I make it quite often with one banana, one cup almond milk, and one tablespoon pb. I will have to try your recipe – sounds great 🙂

    1. Yes CHIA not like the tea. I found mine at Whole Foods but I believe you could find them elsewhere.
