This Pork Tenderloin Fontina Grain Free Sandwich with Basil Yogurt Spread is an easy dinner that the whole family will love!
Would you believe it if I told you that's a grain free roll?? It is!! It's made by Against the Grain gourmet and it is fabulous!! Higher in calories than a regular roll but when you want a good sandwich and you don't eat them often this one is pretty yummy.
Add some Delicious Mayo Free Basil Yogurt Spread on this baby with some lettuce, lean pork tenderloin and creamy fontina cheese and it's a match made a heaven! No one will complain about sandwiches for dinner with this recipe!
This Basil Yogurt spread can be piled on each slice as ¼ cup is only 35 calories! Yep you heard me right!
My hubby absolutely loves this sandwich, in fact it called it a GOURMET sandwich!
I know this looks like a lot, but I promise you that it is only a HALF ounce of cheese and 2 ounces of pork, I weighed it on my scale!!
Here's a quick video about the grain free bun I used here in this picture. They are higher in calories and fat so when I calculated the nutritional info I used Udi's gluten free hamburger buns instead. Udi's are only 190 calories and have lots of fiber! But when you want to give the hubby (who doesn't care about calories) a sandwich , he will enjoy this roll and never notice it's grain free!!!
The Nutritional Information is based on using Udi's Gluten Free Hamburger Whole Grain buns.
