Edible Eggless Easy Sugar Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip is Low Carb and Keto and takes just a few minutes to make!
Sugar Free Low Carb Cookie Dough Recipe
There's something about real cookie dough that makes one drool. Is it the creamy texture? The raw and almost fudge like consistency? Or is it just that sinfulness of eating a bite when you're sweet tooth is calling?
I'm not sure one can even answer that because it all comes down to the fact that raw cookie dough made with eggs can make anyone pretty sick.
Might not stop a lot of people from eating the batter or anything you are baking, but it certainly doesn't sound appetizing to me.
With the threat of salmonella from eating raw eggs, I'd rather avoid the possibility of it at all costs. I've got too much to do and can't get sick like that no matter how tempting a raw cookie dough bite might be.
This creamy cookie dough dip recipe came to be because I was recently making a few batches of cookies!! I just posted them a few days ago, my Low Carb Chocolate Chip Cookies you see in the pictures here.
This dessert dip was a huge hit with the entire family!
And they are so good and knowing how delicious that cookie batter is, I was tempted to eat just a little.
So of course I had to create an edible cookie dough version that wouldn't make anyone sick. Excluding the eggs all together for this low carb cookie dough dip works beautifully and is everything it should be.
Carbs in Cookie Dough Dip
No, traditional cookie dough is not keto friendly or low carb as it's filled with white refined sugar or brown sugar or maple syrup.
According to Cronometer, the tracking app I use, if you were going to eat one serving about 19 grams of Nestle Toll House, Chocolate Chip Cookie dough, you're looking at 87 calories, 11.4 grams of total carbs.
2 Tablespoons of our low carb cookie dough dip has just 1 gram total carbs!
Healthy Cookie Dough Dip
Creamy sweet dip and smooth and luscious no bake dessert. Richly decadent. Sinful.
Well no it's not really sinful at all and the perfect dip for your next party!
Quick when having a cookie dough craving, but won't spike your blood sugar!
Not sinful at all for a delicious sweet treat or afternoon snack. Not quite low in calories and fat, but low in carbs and no sugar is a pretty good deal better, than typical cookie dough in my humble opinion.
No Bake Cookie Dough Dip
Anyway if you're a dip lover, I've got a bunch of yummy ones to choose from.
Strawberry Cheesecake Dip, Peanut Butter Dip, Cookies and Cream Dip!
You'll notice in the video the color of this decadent dip is lighter and in these pictures the color of this easy sugar free dip is darker.
The choice or brand you use of the tahini or sunbutter you purchase will vary in color, some lighter and some are darker and will effect the end result look of the dip.
Can I make this dairy free?
Yes you can swap the regular cream cheese with vegan cream cheese if you prefer. Swap the butter with coconut oil.
Can I replace the cream cheese?
If you don't want to use cream cheese you could swap it with plain Greek yogurt but please note, the consitiency and texture will be different.
Cream cheese is thicker than Greek yogurt, so you will have a looser dip rather than firmer, thick cookie dough dip.
What is Tahini?
Tahini is made from blending sesame seeds until smooth to make the same texture and consistency of peanut butter.
Can I replace the tahini?
Yes, you can use any nut butter of choice, (almond butter, peanut butter, macadamia nut butter) you like in place of the tahini paste I used. You could also use sunflower butter to keep it nut free if you prefer.
Can I use raw nuts instead?
You could use raw nuts, but be sure to process them until smooth before completing the rest of the recipe.
Can I change the low carb sweetener?
Yes, you can use whatever sweetener you prefer and the 1 teaspoon of vanilla stevia here makes this only slightly sweet.
I would suggest starting out with a small amount of whatever sweetener you use then taste and adjust to your preference. You can always add more if needed. Use my Sweetener Guide & Conversion chart to decide how much of another sweetener to use.
Can I use this Sugar Free Cookie Dough Dip to Make Chocolate Chip Cookies?
No, this cookie dough dip does not include almond flour or coconut flour or any flour so making formed low carb cookies that you bake, would not work well.
Enjoy this no bake, low carb version of cookie dough dip with my Chocolate Chip Cookies or Vanilla Wafer recipe!

I made it tonight. It is so good !?

How do you make it without cream cheese? Any dairy free options?
Caitlin
this didn’t come out great for me. It tastes too much like cream cheese and butter and just seems very fattening. I will not be making this again.
Terri
I made this using almond butter because I didn’t have tahini. It’s delicious! Thanks for the recipe!
Terri
I have made this twice since, as written, with tahini. It’s even better than it was with the almond butter! The negative reviews just make me scratch my head in confusion. I guess we all have different tastes!
Lisa
This is wonderful! I used vegan butter and caco nip. I was thinking it would be good to dip strawberries in! I will make this again and again. Thanks for sharing??... it came out really fluffy.

Love this! I sub ricotta cheese for the cream cheese and use cashew nut butter, Heavenly.....
Carolyn
If you want to use swerve instead of stevia, how much would you need to use?
Brenda
Swerve is not as sweet as stevia so you'd definitely need to add at least 1/2 cup then taste and decide if you need more.
Rebecca Field
Can you cook it to turn it into cookies or do you need a different recipe for that?
Brenda
Nope this is only good as a dip, but try these cookies: https://www.sugarfreemom.com/recipes/sugar-free-low-carb-chocolate-chip-cookies-keto-nut-free/
Jessica
I just made this and oooh yum! This is my new favorite treat.
Thank you for posting this recipe?
Renea
What can you use instead of cream cheese?
Tillie
I was wondering the same thing!
Michele
I have the same question as Valerie...tahini replacement? I just really don't like it. I even have to make hummus without tahini.
Kelly
See her notes below the recipe to print- sub with nut butter
Kelly
Sorry notes are just above the recipe to print
Valerie lane
Can we replace the tahini with anything?
Kelly
I’m wondering this too.
Brenda
I think I mentioned under my notes you can use a nut butter instead of tahini paste if you prefer. I use that because my youngest has a tree nut allergy.
kelly
thanks I did see the notes...just didn't want it to taste like the nut butter (ie peanut or almond butter cookie dough verses tasting like choc chip cookie dough) In your opinion does one nut butter have less of an overpowering taste than another? We do not have any allergies. Thanks for a great recipe. =)
Brenda
I think the least overpowering taste of all nut butters is probably cashew butter, but almond would work better than peanut butter.
Kelly
Thanks for replying so quickly. Decided to go for the recipe with the tahini. 🙂 I’ll try subbing cashew butter otherwise. Either way- hurray for low carb cookie dough!!
Amy
Myth! Raw eggs are actually safe to eat.
http://factmyth.com/factoids/consuming-raw-eggs-is-safe/
That said, the loss of the raw egg in the dough doesn't really make much of a difference. If you're vegan, then of course you don't want any egg. Good recipe.
Em
The real risk with raw dough is the flour.
Vicky
Oooh I would love to rolls these up into little balls and freeze them for chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream!
Brenda
GReat idea!

The looks awesome I was wondering has anyone ever tried adding protein powder?
