What I Ate Wednesday #13

Well Hello there! In case you’re new around here, this is my weekly visual food journal for everyone to see. What I ate one day last week, not necessarily Wednesday.  To be honest I really can’t remember what day it actually was. I wish my iphone pics tracked my days of when the pics were taken but, anywho, here it is in a nutshell!

No judging allowed, some days a perfectly balanced and some not so much. BUT each day is always refined sugar free for me and I will never go back. Each day is refined white flour free and I will never go back. Here’s my story if you’ve never read it, My Journey to Sugar Free (before & after pics).

Each day is PROGRESS, never perfection, to make healthy choices for my body. 🙂

Didn’t feel like making a hot breakfast so I chose some low fat cottage cheese, topped with Homemade Crock Pot Applesauce and a few walnuts, very yummy indeed!

I love greens! Doesn’t this salad look amazing? It was so good! Fresh spinach topped with edamame, radishes, celery, carrots, tomatoes and mild pepper rings. I made an olive oil, lemon juice dressing and I was happy! I think it’s something about the crunch that keeps me coming back for more and totally satisfied.

By the afternoon the kiddies were watching a movie and I was at my laptop writing, see that wire, yep, I snagged some of the kids popcorn while working. Totally works for me!

The lighting stinks here at the stove, oh well…….. Looks horrible but tasted fantastic! Just posted recipe on Monday so much better pics here, Roasted Asparagus Mushroom Onion Pizza!

My after dinner snack, yep at the computer again…….. Almond Mousse so divine, hits the spot every time a crazing tries to attack me.  I win. 😉

  1. If only I could have your self control and discipline. I had filled wafer sticks all day long. I tried to do a three day cleanse. Today was supposed to be my second day. But I don’t think you would count it as a cleanse since I ate the said wafers and a slice of pizza as well.

    1. Well Brenda this was a day last week, but for the most part I do love veggies but I tend to over do it on yogurt and carbs even healthy ones. I am going to comment on the 3 day cleanse post and share my thoughts and results so check there if you’re interested.
