Ingredients

pound
93% lean ground turkey
1
tablespoon
olive oil
1
teaspoon
minced garlic
1
cup
chopped onion
1
can
28 ounces crushed tomatoes
1
can
15.5 ounces black beans, drained, rinsed
1
can
15.5 ounces pinto beans, drained, rinsed
1
cup
mild salsa
2
cans
10 ounces diced tomatoes with green chili's
1
tablespoon
taco seasoning
1
teaspoon
cumin
1
teaspoon
dried oregano
1
teaspoon
salt
1
teaspoon
chili powder
1/2
teaspoon
pepper
1-2
cups
water to thin out to liking
Optional Toppings: Shredded cheddar cheese
scallions, sour cream, tortilla chips, avocado
Instructions
In a large saute pan, add oil, garlic and onion and cook until softened.
Add turkey and cook until browned.
Add all remaining ingredients into crock pot.
Cook on low 4 hour- 6 hours.
Use water to thin out soup if desired.
Add optional toppings and enjoy!
