Slow Cooker Cabbage and Onions

- 1/4 cup bone broth
- 12 cups cabbage chopped or shredded (1 large head)
- 2 cups onions sliced
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground mustard
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- optional crushed red chili peppers
- optional crispy bacon to top
Pour bone broth into the slow cooker then add all remaining ingredients. Stir to combine well.
Cover and cook on low 5-6 hours or until tender to your liking.
QUICK TIP: Sub 24 ounces of pre shredded coleslaw mix to save time instead of chopping a head of cabbage.
